A lot of couples spend the lead-up to their wedding quietly bracing for the moment a vendor gets weird about who they are. That moment doesn’t happen with me. Your love is the entire point of the day, and I’m genuinely thrilled to be the one documenting it. You get to show up as yourselves, hold each other the way you actually hold each other, and trust that the person behind the camera is rooting for you the whole time.
Affirming isn’t a badge I put on a page, it’s how I work from your very first message. I use inclusive language from the first email. I ask your pronouns and the words you use for each other, then I actually use them. My intake never assumes a bride and a groom, a certain person walking down the aisle, or who’s getting ready with who. If something in the wedding world’s default script doesn’t fit you, we just toss it. You lead, I follow, and I’m glad to.
What affirming actually means with me
You wrote your own version, and I’m your biggest fan for it! Two of you walking in together. Two getting-ready suites, or one big chaotic one. Chosen family standing where tradition expects someone else. Rewritten vows, skipped traditions, a whole new ritual that means something only to you. I’ve photographed enough weddings that break the mold to show up unsurprised and genuinely excited, so you never have to wonder if I’m secretly raising an eyebrow. I’m not. I’m in.

Absolutely, all of you. However your love looks, you’re celebrated here exactly as you are.
How do you handle our pronouns and names?

I ask from the first email and then I use them, simple as that. You’ll never have to correct me twice or explain yourselves to me.

Yes! They're a great way for us to get comfortable together before the wedding, and I genuinely love shooting them.
Do you photograph queer elopements and small weddings?

Yes. Elopements and intimate weddings are some of my favorite work, and they’re a beautiful fit for couples who want their day focused purely on each other.
