I'm Tyler, an elopement and intimate wedding photographer based in Jacksonville, Florida, and I photograph small weddings across Northeast Florida, St. Augustine, and Southeast Georgia, including the beaches near St. Augustine and Jekyll Island. Elopements are some of my favorite work, so I built packages just for them! What counts as an elopement?
Honestly? Whatever you want it to. An elopement used to mean running off in secret, and now it just means a small, intentional day built around the two of you. Courthouse and tacos after. A beach at golden hour with your six favorite people. A backyard, a dog in a bow tie, and pie instead of cake. There's no guest minimum and no "real wedding" rulebook. If it's the day you actually want, it counts.
Northeast Florida is genuinely one of the best places in the country for this. The beaches around St. Augustine and Atlantic Beach, the historic streets downtown, the marshes and oaks of the First Coast, and Jekyll Island just over the Georgia line. I know these spots well, and I'll help you pick one that fits the feeling you're after.

How do I elope in Florida?

You’ll need a Florida marriage license from any county clerk’s office, then we plan the day around you: the spot, the timing, who’s there. I’m happy to walk you through how it usually flows.
